There is nothing missed or offensive. It’s a love letter to Kung fu movies.“But there is more to Chinese culture!” And…… haha. What does that have to do with anything relevant? It’s a Kung Fu game.
Many westerners were introduced to Chinese culture through Kung fu movies. I know I was. Shaw brothers and Bruce Lee. It’s not strange to me that white people in France made a kung fu game. I grew up on it too as an American.
I know the Chinese hated Bruce Lee because he was teaching Kung Fu to Americans like Kareem Abdul jabbar. He was in Bruce lees movie game of death which influenced this game for sure. Maybe that’s all this article is. Racism.
Kung fu movies didn’t have a deep story. The credits rolled as soon as the bad guy died. Like instantly haha. Anyone who says Sifu is hollow has never watched a Kung Fu movie in their life. The admiration goes lost on them and it wasn’t for them.
