Really though?
After they gave RE3 to their second team and it didn’t so well fan reception wise compared to the RE2 remake they took the RE4 remake off them and gave it to the main team.
My point is that if they stick to their main team and they remade the first Resident Evil again (it’s been over 20 years now), Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil Code Veronica then you have a solid 3 games to get through. Each game would take about 3 years or so, making that 9 years before they face any issue and by then who knows they’ll hopefully use the remake timeline to just redo RE5 and change the story to softboot the entire franchise.
They should give their second team RE Outbreak and just focus their online efforts into that instead
