My guess is that Microsoft actually has no plans on a native version on the Switch and if the deal closes they will instead try to push streaming by making the Switch version streaming only. It’s not like it would be the first Switch streaming only game.
Microsoft just can’t wait to get its foot in the door on streaming and Switch.
Just watch coming soon Microsoft will be pressuring Nintendo to put Game Pass on Switch again.
