You make a product and want people to be able to buy it, you don’t want them to be turned away, because if that happens THAT is a failure from a supply standpoint. Sony had that issue with PS5, they don’t want to have that situation again and they’re managing to meet demand, for now – this is GOOD news! It hasn’t even launched yet.

Are you suggesting that Microsoft weren’t pleased to have turned a profit on Kinect? Did you forget the part where they forced everyone to buy one at launch last gen? No matter how you cut it, companies want to make money. If they can do that at the same time as pleasing their customers, win-win. That’s what we’re seeing here.

Or you can go the Microsoft route, which is currently lose-lose, in this context and others. But go ahead and peddle your narrative that Sony is wrong, even though everyone’s happy, I’m sure the 4 other usual Debbie Downers will appreciate it.
