So what’s that got to do with a game released on the ps4?

What does any of that x release before x have anything to do with this buyout, Microsoft has has had a full 20 years, and an insanely amount of funding to figure it out by now.

You do know the kind of hardware the ps1 was up against during that time right? They were using completely different tech than the competition, of course they wanted to snag third party exclusives, because a majority of those games could run on those hardware to begin with. Good luck getting the snes to run a 3d game like resident evil, ff7, ect

It’s like trying to argue today that Sony has a bunch of console VR exclusives that wont be on xbox, cause yeah, that system doesnt support it.

And it doesn’t change the fact that MS started making deals for third party exclusives as soon as the came into the market with the Xbox.
