Yeah but the thing is to Nintendo it’s not old hardware technically as it’s their current system.
They do this all the time to release a game at the current RRP even if it’s a re release look at tropical freeze which came out as a re release an extra 10 dollars above to old Wii U RRP
Res hardware performance these mean nothing to Nintendo this is the same company that cbf making a successor to the Gameboy for like a decade to turn around and simply slap a colour screen on the same spec system and call it a day
