Every review I read on metacritic so far kinda screams bias. Almost everyone starts with “the Harry Potter game I always wanted”, it’s hard for me to take it seriously when your review jump starts at pandering.
It’s like the botw reviews when people screamed how amazing that was simply being Zelda and once I got it was severely underwhelming.
I’ll have the game this week to measure it on my own metrics. But, this was written on the walls that it was going to be loved prior to its release. Even with no demo and gameplay reveals that released weeks before launch.
Can’t help but see a lot of flaws in the approach to the gaming reviewing system. Truly doesn’t feel impartial and feels very personal on these games and how they are suggested.
