They typically make at least a couple new IP’s each generation and at least one of them becomes synonymous with the Nintendo brand. Gamecube had Pikmin, Wii had Xenoblade (and the Wii series), Wii U had Splatoon…so far we haven’t really gotten that with the Switch. I mean, we’ve had new IP’s for sure (Arms, Astral Chain, Ring Fit), but so far nothing that seems like lifelong Nintendo properties. Hopefully we get some soon!
