PSVR2 Hasnt Solved VRs Biggest Problem

ApocalypseShadow20h ago(Edited 19h ago)

Just one big, lame article.

CES isn’t a game show. Asking about games knowing they are not going to be divulging about until most likely after releases like Forbidden West, GOW and GT 7.

But we have clues there will be big games coming to it. Like GT 7 or GTA 5 or RE 8. Past history of getting games like Borderlands, Skyrim, Hitman collection, Iron Man, Astrobot…I don’t even need to keep going. We know Sony’s all in because the headset tells you. The fact that Jim Ryan stood in front of people stating that they are all in. That means games are coming. Bigger that before.

Sure there are a lot of Indy games. But there were some amazing ones. How can you as a gamer, downplay Indy games? I don’t need to list them all. But to say the technology is not there yet is false. It can be pulled off. Just at what fidelity are we talking for big PS5 games? They would have to scale down from full PS5 games to work. Or change interactions.

But I’m going to tell you, an Indy game like SAIRENTO tells you almost anything a regular game can do, you can do it in VR. Sairento doesn’t pull any punches when it comes to movement. Shooting, slashing, sliding, punching, stabbing, front flips, back flips, side flips, wall crawling, wall hanging, ground stomping, slow mo. With movement like that, there isn’t a game you couldn’t do. That’s straight up Devil May Cry movement. Don’t be down on Indy games. We seen that nonsense in the past.

PSVR 2 is going to show what a console can do for VR. 3D sound like Returnal, fast loading like Spider-Man, graphics like PS4 Pro or better, HDR, haptics found nowhere else, etc.

PSVR’s big brother just walked into the room. You aren’t RED E for em.
