To be fair, you can’t blame a publisher for not being ok with a school shooting level. You have to understand they’re a business. If the media picks up the story it would become a huge controversy. And at that point the context or the storytelling won’t matter.
It’ll just be another case of video games becoming the scapegoat. We need to stop pretending that video games aren’t held to a different standard than every other form of entertainment.
