Halo Infinite Revitalises Gaming’s Old Guard

I’m the opposite. F2P FPS online multiplayer with randos is not interesting to me at all. The campaign, then, is my entire game. So the campaign is my cake and icing, and the other part is irrelevant to me.

Ironically, the above is the exact reason I fell away from Xbox over the last decade. I care deeply about character development and lore, but playing online with no story is repetitive, stressful, and just generally unfun to me.

That said, I do love a good co-op campaign. That would be my favorite type of online play, and one reason It Takes Two was so great. I can even stand Borderlands 3 or Destiny 2 because that involves playing together to overcome the environment, PvE. I guess it’s just the PvP that I don’t enjoy.
