Deathloop Set to Become Available on “Other Consoles” on September 2022

I don’t think they have. I have no idea how the game sold, but I’m guessing very bad. I suspect the reason that it sold bad(my GUESS, no evidence of this) is because Sony fans on the Internet turned their back on it when XGS bought the company. I think it affected sales. That is just a guess. I am using anecdotal evidence. Here are the anecdotal assumptions I’ve made to believe this:

1. I haven’t seen any sales bragging articles around the net from anyone about this.
2. Sony advertised it so heavily it made me think preorders were bad
3. I already bought the game for $22.99 on amazon, plus whatever tax/shipping might be added.

I thought the previous sales were pretty good, but then the game dropped to 22.99 on amazon the other day. I figured it would sell out at that price instantly like other games did during their big sales(for example, GotG dropped to 39.99 then sold out, and while apparently sold out dropped again to 29.99). I checked just now and Deathloop is STILL available still 22.99, barely over 20 dollars.

So I’m not so sure PS5 owners were tripping over themselves to pick this up on launch day. Maybe they were, but I think they regretted making this exclusive all around. If it didn’t sell well on PS5, it will have to wait a long time to release on other consoles, and just be a gamepass game then. IMO, they should have launched it as a multiplat across all platforms to reach a wider audience, but they couldn’t see into the future with the XGS acquisition.
