Unfortunately though a game can’t just be a game anymore. You can’t just have a base game and a few map packs and then leave well enough alone and let people play the game just because it’s fun. If you don’t constantly add new nonsense to earn, people will whine their heads off. Dice added maps to BFV for almost two years and people on the Battlefield reddit are still moaning about how Dice dropped support for the game too quickly.
