LOL. If you own the game for Xbox consoles there is no need to buy it twice if you bought it for XB1. The upgrades are free, for Series consoles. If you own the game for PS4, and want to upgrade to the PS5 version it will cost less than $10.
It has been the same for most cross gen games! Why do you think we have to buy it again?
