I would suggest you check out the LTT video posted today that specifically addresses burn in issues with OLED panels. Despite how common manufacturers are trying to make it, it’s still a fairly new and unrefined technology with the very basis of how it works lending itself to burn in. I use a Galaxy S9, a modern phone with an OLED display, and I have burn in. It’s not a myth. It doesn’t just affect hardware from the inception of OLED. I suggest education over assumptions in order to avoid bad purchases like I ended up making. Disagreeing with someone with proof in their hands that burn in does happen is literally fighting evidence with assumption.
