@Jin I said I had fun. “I’m had a good 300 hrs of fun with Cyberpunk”. Can you point out where I said I didn’t? It wasn’t the point of my comment.
I hate to be tedious, but… You can have fun with a “buggy mess of a game”. The article talks about a bugs, the responder implies it’s a “winning formula”, i.e., a solid MP experience. My definition of “winning formula” is obviously different than the responder’s. For, I don’t think Cyberpúnk has a “winning formula” even though it is fun.
For me, a “winning formula” would be a novel experience with a minimum amount of bugs (I’m not sure if there is a game that is completely bug free that is not a 2D platformer). In any case, “formula”, in this instance, would be the “elements” that make or do not make my definition of a “solid” game.
Entertainment “formulas” can subtract elements and still be enjoyable, but not solid. Hence, “Halo Was a Buggy…Mess” and the response “And yet it’s still the most fun I’ve had with any shooter game in the last 10 years, if not more. They’re onto a winning formula with Infinite – at least with the MP experience.” And my disagreement therein.
The Halo Infinite Test Flight Was A Buggy, Frequently Hilarious Mess
