If you are not already you should try experimenting with different weapons to find out what works best for you. For me the electropylon driver or carbine were the best weapons for biome 3. Others like to choose different weapons for biome 3.

Keep trying and experimenting and eventually you will get better. By now you should have a feel for if you will be able to make a deep run based on the items, weapons, etc that are dropping and the enemies you are seeing. Don’t be afraid to restart in the middle of a run if you feel like you aren’t getting the weapons, health, etc you need. It’s better to do that then to keep progressing knowing that you don’t have the health, powerful weapon, etc needed to overcome a boss.
