The article is insinuating/stating that those who bought 3D All-Stars only did so because it was a timed limited release. Perhaps that’s a bad reason to buy a game. Maybe you should just buy games to play & enjoy them, not as ‘an investment’ because you believe it will be worth a lot after 10-20 years. If new gamers get to enjoy Mario 64 because of Switch Online, that seems like a good thing.
