I think this “free pass” stuff is nonsense. Nintendo doesn’t just get a free pass no matter what. A) I see MANY people from multiple sites consistently criticize Nintendo for many things, game prices, ports, remakes, lack of powerful hardware, online, controllers, this OLED model…and B) the Wii U proved that gamers don’t just pick Nintendo no matter what. Heck, the 3DS hasn’t sold as well as the Switch has either. It’s just that the people buying the Switch don’t have the same priorities as you do, but it’s not a free pass.
