A lot of people crapped on DNF but the game worked, the problem was that it didn’t feel much different to say Doom 3 which released in 2004. The only issue i had with it is that some graphics looked a bit patchy like shadows, and the AI was kinda screwy in places, otherwise somewhat enjoyable for the time.
The difference here is that the games are purposely watered down with no effort, pure laziness on EA’s part, pretty sure i read that even the first version could’ve had better graphics but they didn’t bother updating them and still not even for this one.
